Org. Setting and Reporting

The Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate (CTED) internships are for (3) months with the opportunity for extension, pending on the needs of the Executive Directorate.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the internship position will consist in assisting the Directorate in improving the collection of quantitative data and setting up an analytical platform for its country assessments.

These responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: assist in reviewing existing IT analytical/ statistical tools that could be considered in the development of CTED analytical platform; assist in the collection of quantitative and comparable data; assist in generating graphs, tables and statistical maps to facilitate further review and analysis of data by users.

Education

Applicants must be enrolled in graduate degree programme in social studies with experience on analysis of statistics or related field.

Must be enrolled in the final academic year of a graduate university degree programme and/or commence internship within a one-year period of graduation.

Work Experience

Applicants are not required to have professional work experience for participation in the internship programme. However, applicants are encouraged to list all relevant work experience in their UN professional history profile (PHP).

Languages

Fluency in English is required.
